Volunteering comes in many guises whether you are a trustee, coming along to help at our events or by raising money for our charity through your own event. Every type of help is gratefully received and if you are interested we would love to hear from you!
Why do we need volunteers?
Being a charity is rewarding but also challenging. Trying to work within extremely tight budgets and not knowing when (or if) the next funding stream will come in keeps us on our toes. Our volunteers are key in helping us to carry out general work, be a trustee or just raising a few pounds no matter how small.
What could it bring for you?
People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge.
Maybe you have some free time and would just like to pledge a few hours of your time to help us at events or if we have some specific requirements?
How can you become a volunteer?
We are looking for trustees with experience in HR, legal matters and marketing so if you have these skills and are able to give us some of your time then we'd love to hear.
You may also consider running your own event such as a coffee morning, cake sale, etc., in aid of Nightstop. We can send you a fundraising pack and promote your event on our website?
Please give us a call on the number above if you are interested in any volunteering opportunities.
