Wyre Forest Nightstop and Mediation Scheme is a small, local charity that challenges and prevents youth homelessness.

Wyre Forest Nightstop and Mediation Scheme was set up in April 2005 as a local response to the issue of youth homelessness. In the early days the project was based in Baxter Church, Kidderminster before moving to an office in the Connexions service based in Youth House.

The aim of the project remains the provision of safe accommodation for young people in the homes of trained and approved volunteers. We now offer family mediation and a schools education programme, both aimed at helping to prevent homelessness.

We are the lead partner in the Axis Youth Hub which is a 'one-stop' drop-in centre for any young person experiencing a crisis.

We also run a Tuesday Group for young people not in education, training or employment which gives them the opportunity to gain life skills, engage in volunteering in a supportive, informal social environment. Please see more about this on the link below.
