17th March 2020

Wyre Forest Nightstop and Mediation Scheme have released information on how we are responding to the Coronavirus outbreak.
We would also like to thank everyone who has sent in a donation through our website. So kind to be thinking of us during this crisis and we wish you and your families well to stay safe and healthy.

This is an update for beneficiaries, supporters and partner organisations in relation to the actions being undertaken by Wyre Forest Nightstop and Mediation Scheme in response to the current outbreak of coronavirus.

Staff, trustees and volunteers at Wyre Forest Nightstop want to reassure young people that we are still here for them, providing our emergency accommodation and crisis support services. However, the welfare of our beneficiaries, volunteers and staff is of the highest importance. Therefore, in order that we are adhering to government advice and guidance in relation to this outbreak, we will be changing some of our working practices for the time being.

· If you are a young person who is in need of our emergency accommodation or crisis support services (Axis Youth Hub), please call us on 01562 743111 or email info@wfnightstop.org You can also send us a message via our Facebook page.

· In line with government guidance, our staff team are working from home where possible and will look to work with you via telephone, text, email and Facetime in the first instance.

· If a face to face appointment is necessary, these appointments will be at our offices at Youth House. If you do attend Youth House, please follow guidance on hand washing and hand sanitising placed around the building. We advise you not to attend Youth House to see us without a prior appointment.

· We are implementing social distancing measures and have suspended our social groups, mediation sessions and schools’ education programme for the time being.

We remain committed to supporting young people who are at homeless or at risk of homelessness during this unprecedented and challenging time. Thank you for your continuing support.
